Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data MontageJaJa(“we”, “us”, the “app”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. MontageJaJa is a desktop application for recording and editing League of Legends highlight montages. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

To provide accounts and team features, we collect:

  • Account information — the email address and password you use to sign up, and the unique username you choose. Passwords are handled and stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plaintext password.
  • Team and membership data— the workspaces (“accounts”) you create or join, your role in them (owner, editor, or viewer), and invitations you send or receive.
  • Content you upload — clips, montages, tags, and template metadata that you choose to store in or share through your team workspace.

We do not show advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. Data that stays on your device

Most of what MontageJaJa produces never leaves your computer unless you choose to share or publish it. Game recordings, auto-cut clips, montage renders, and your saved sign-in session are stored locally on your PC (under your MontageJaJa application folder). Deleting these files removes that data from your device.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
  • To power team workspaces — so members can share clips, tags, templates, and montages, and so invitations and roles work.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the app's features.
  • To respond to your support requests and enforce our terms.

4. Third-party services

MontageJaJa relies on the following service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Supabase — provides our authentication, database, and file storage. Your account details and any content you store or share through a team workspace are hosted on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Google / YouTube — used only if you connect a YouTube channel to publish montages (see below).

5. YouTube and Google API disclosure

Connecting your YouTube channel is optional. If you do, you sign in through Google using OAuth 2.0, and MontageJaJa stores the resulting access and refresh tokens so it can upload montages to your channel on your behalf. We request only the scopes needed to upload videos, and we do not read or modify other parts of your Google account.

MontageJaJa's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke MontageJaJa's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately disables further uploads.

6. Data storage and security

Account and shared content data are stored with our provider (Supabase) and protected by access controls that scope data to your account and team. Access to team-scoped data is limited to members of that team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights and choices

  • You can update your username and profile from within the app, and delete locally stored recordings and montages directly on your device.
  • You can disconnect YouTube at any time, in the app or via your Google account permissions.
  • To request access to, or deletion of, the account data we hold about you, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children

MontageJaJa is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes take effect when we publish the revised version, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
